NOTE: This page is for those campers and peer model campers that have already been notified by Camp Encourage that a potential slot has been offered to him or her. If interested in attending as a camper with ASD or as a peer model camper and you have not already submitted an application, please do so. The application and further details can be found HERE

INFORMATIONAL PACKET

Please download and read through this packet in its entirety in advance to prepare you and your camper, as well as those that will be supporting him or her. Read this entire packet as details are crucial.


RETURN TO CAMPBRAIN

Please return and log in to our online registration system HERE to upload a recent photo, COVID vaccination records, and supportive documents (if needed such as an IEP or a behavior plan) of your camper. TALL OAKS ACTIVITIES WAIVER

(This is only applicable to summer campers. The form does not need to be completed in March and October of 2022 as we are not participating in the zip line).

We rent our campgrounds from Tall Oaks Camp and Conference Center. They require that all zip line participants sign and submit the below waiver. When completing the one page form, please print as legibly as feasible and be sure to pay particular attention to the highlighted sections. Parents and campers should sign the bottom of the form.

All summer participants must complete this form and bring it upon arrival to Camp Encourage. You will give it to a member of our staff when checking in upon arrival. Please note: We will have copies available for those who need them, but please expedite the process by having your form completed prior to arrival.  If someone other than a parent or guardian is dropping off the camper, the form MUST be filled out AND signed by a parent or guardian (and the camper) prior to arrival.


TOUR THE CAMPGROUNDS

We will provide the following opportunities to tour Tall Oaks Camp and Conference Center prior to camp. We hope that each opportunity will be a helpful resource for each first-time and returning camper to peek at his or her cabin, get a glimpse into where the magic will take place, receive answers to questions, and decrease worries and uncertainties about the new experience.

In person: Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 2:30pm. Our Lead Staff will facilitate a tour of the campgrounds. Campers will have the opportunity to peek in a few cabins and check out the dining hall, the swimming pool, and zipline. The tour will include a lot of walking. DOWNLOAD OUR APP

This year, we will begin using a new communication tool to provide updates, send photos, etc.. Because it will serve as a primary source of communicating information to parents, it will be essential that you download and access the app.  The app will enable you to view photos and receive communication from Camp Encourage staff. Instructions for downloading and using the app can be found by clicking below. Should you not download the app, you may miss updates and will not have access to photos. Should you have difficulty accessing this, please contact Aimee at agorrow@campencourage.org for assistance.

Payments can be safely processed online. If you prefer to write a check, please make it payable to Camp Encourage and mail it to Camp Encourage, 4025 Central Street, Kansas City, MO 64111.

Tuition is due on the following dates unless payment arrangements have been made. Credit card payments can be processed through our online registration system, CampBrain. If your family has been awarded a scholarship, that amount will be shown. Click below to log in and process your payment.
