July 2017 Camp Encourage

July brought another great session of Camp Encourage! 

Despite the heat, the days were filled with joy, laughter, friendships, noticing the good in ourselves and others, new adventures, and lots of good 'ol camp fun.

In addition to our campers, in July we welcomed seven photographers from around the world to camp, as a part of the Wirkshop Series. Presented by local photographers Tyler Wirken and Brandon Parigo, Camp Encourage was chosen as their home for the week. We're eager to see their completed work, including some that will be featured at this year's S'Mores & Pours: Camp Stories event. 

Though wrapping up at the end of camp is never easy, we hope the memories of those days, the friendships formed, and the goodness we notice in ourselves and around us will sustain campers and volunteers alike. Until next summer!
