Here we are over a year later in this turned-upside-down new world. Schedules were uprooted, routines were shaken, losses were abundant, and although hope is on the horizon, uncertainty continues to hover.
These days have been especially difficult for our campers and their families. Our hearts go out to each and every one of you and we hope that you are finding good health, beautiful moments of peace, and shared joy amid the unsettling moments.
GOODNESS AWAITS.
At Camp Encourage, plans for returning to our overnight camps are in the works. We are counting down the days with great joy to our first overnight camp session since 2019. What a beautiful reunion it will be!
As slots fill for our camp sessions, it is clear that our campers and their families share in the excitement. As we read through applications, it is also clear that they need us more than ever. Scholarship requests have increased and the weight of the past year has caused many of our campers with autism to have an even greater need to be surrounded by the safety and structure of our schedule, always-present encouragement, beauty of nature, and social connections. Join us in making this happen!
As we kick off the month of April, celebrating those that we love with autism, Camp Encourage also kicks off a matching campaign we are grateful to be included in.
CAMPS FOR KIDS
From April 1st through July 31st, every donation (up to $1500 per donor) made through Camps For Kids on behalf of Camp Encourage will be DOUBLED and will be used specifically to support the scholarship needs of our ever-so-deserving campers.
