Good news! We have meaningful volunteer opportunities for nurses and other medical professionals in 2021! Volunteers often return and share it is the highlight of their year! Join us (and, please PASS IT ON!)!
Share your expertise in a like-no-other, loving (and tremendously fun!) environment! Our sessions take place at Tall Oaks Camp and Conference Center in Linwood (just outside of Bonner Springs, KS) on the following dates:
- June 16-19, 2021
- July 21-24, 2021
- September 4-5, 2021
- October 16-17, 2021
Applicants may express interest in one or all of the camp sessions. We prefer our medical staff to remain at camp for the duration of the camp session, however, exceptions may be considered.
Medically Trained Professionals reside overnight in an air-conditioned room, separate from campers. All lodging expenses and all meals are provided for you. Assigned to a small group, these individuals assist with any medical needs, are in charge of collecting and distributing prescription and over-the-counter medications, and will be under the loving direction of our staff Lead Nurse. Important: these volunteers must have certification to administer medications in the state of Kansas.
